SRPEDD Announces a 21-day Public Comment Period and a Remote Public Meeting to hear comments for the draft FFY2021 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) DRAFT FFY2021 UPWP, as well as for amendments to the FFY2020 UPWP Link to amendments.May 19, 2020 – The draft FFY2021 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) is being released for public comment. The present FFY2020 UPWP is being amended to adjust work tasks changed due to the state of emergency, and to add projects to the work plan. As a result, there needs to be a reallocation of funds. The amendments include a proposed Covid-19 Outreach Study, Trails Mapping Study and Freight Action Plan. The UPWP identifies, in a single document, all of the annual transportation planning activities that are to be undertaken in the Southeastern Massachusetts Metropolitan Area which is also the SRPEDD region, from October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021.A public meeting to hear comments and concerns on these amendments will be held remotely on Wednesday, May 27 from 4-6 PM due to the state of emergency in Massachusetts. Everyone is welcome to attend, ask questions and offer comments. The meeting will be conducted through the Microsoft ZOOM APP. SRPEDD Announces a 21-day Public Comment Period and Remote Public Meeting for the draft FFY2021-2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) concerning projects in the communities of Attleboro, Dartmouth, Mansfield, Mattapoisett, New Bedford, Plainville, Raynham, Rehoboth, Swansea, Taunton, and Wareham.April 22, 2020 – the draft FFY2021-2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is being released for a 21-day public comment period. The TIP is the programming document listing all federally funded road and bridge projects in the region and all transit projects for both the Southeastern Regional Transit Authority (SRTA) and the Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority (GATRA). The TIP lists all projects in the 27 SRPEDD communities to be funded through the year 2025.A public meeting to hear comments and concerns on the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) will be held remotely on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 4 PM based on the state of emergency in Massachusetts. The TIP lists all projects in the 27 SRPEDD communities to be funded through the year 2024.A public meeting to hear comments and concerns on these amendments will be held at SRPEDD, located at 88 Broadway in Taunton, MA on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 4 PM.
